Archive

The archive sorts the guide’s articles by the year they were prepared and marks each with its main topic. It helps you see quickly what the guide already covers and find a page you read before, even if you have forgotten its title. The topics are the same as in the feed: home network, outages, calls and video, safety, family. If you only remember what an article was about, search by topic; if you remember when you read it, search by date.

The archive honestly shows only what has been published. Empty promises and placeholders do not make it in.

— Editor’s view

How we choose entries: a page goes into the archive once it has been published and opens. The date shows the day it was prepared, and the topic shows the main question it answers. If a page is substantially rewritten, we do not create a new entry but update the existing one, so the archive has no duplicates. Pages from the former site are not here, and work in progress will appear once it is published. The editors take suggestions for future articles into account when planning the catalogue.

The domain’s former address

Before this guide, a different site ran on this domain. Soedin is not connected with it and does not carry over any of its content. The old home page address still turns up in links from other sites, so it now opens a checklist on sorting out your home network in one evening (in Russian). Other addresses from the former site are not part of the guide and will not be restored. If you arrived here through such a link and were looking for something specific about home connectivity, take a look at the guide’s topics or the answers to questions.
